Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

At GSL Education, we are thrilled to offer an opportunity for a proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Hearing Impairments (HI), Other Health Needs (OTH), Specific Learning Disabilities (SpLD), and Visual Impairments (VI) in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of students, helping them access their education in an inclusive and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities of the SEN TA:
- Provide tailored support to students with HI, OTH, SpLD, and VI, assisting with their learning and social integration.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver specialised lesson plans and support strategies for each individual student.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages positive learning outcomes.
- Help students develop social skills and manage any challenges related to their impairments.
- Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to the development of personalised education plans
Requirements of the SEN TA:
- Experience supporting students with HI, OTH, SpLD, VI, or other special educational needs is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting diverse needs.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
