Milk Education is seeking a patient and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with non-verbal autism in a primary school in Enfield. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support using PECS and Makaton to facilitate communication.

• Assist in delivering individualised learning strategies tailored to the child’s needs.

• Support social, emotional, and sensory regulation within the classroom.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and SENCO to implement effective interventions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with children with autism and communication challenges.

• Familiarity with PECS and Makaton is essential.

• A patient, calm, and adaptable approach.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
