Milk Education is looking for a passionate Learning Mentor to support a Key Stage 2 pupil in a primary school in Enfield, London. This role is perfect for individuals who have experience working with young learners and are eager to help them develop confidence and academic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 mentoring support to a KS2 pupil, focusing on academic progress and personal development.

  • Assist in setting achievable learning targets and supporting the pupil in reaching them.

  • Foster a positive and encouraging relationship to build confidence and motivation.

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored interventions.

  • Support social, emotional, and behavioural development through structured guidance.

  • Help create an inclusive learning environment where the pupil feels valued and supported.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a mentoring, teaching assistant, or pastoral support role.

  • A strong understanding of supporting children with additional learning needs or social/emotional challenges.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A proactive and patient approach to working with young learners.

  • An interest in education, youth work, or psychology is desirable.
