We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SENCO to join A dedicated team. This school supports children aged 4-16 with a range of special educational needs, and we're committed to helping every student thrive.

This is a temporary-to-permanent role, offering you the chance to demonstrate your skills and grow into a long-term position within our supportive school community.

• Oversee and manage the school's SEN provision in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
• Create and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), working closely with staff, families, and external agencies.
• Support and train staff to deliver high-quality SEN teaching and interventions.
• Monitor the progress and wellbeing of students, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and outside organisations.

We're seeking someone who:

• Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (or equivalent) or is willing to complete this qualification.
• Has experience as a SENCO or in a similar leadership role, ideally across both primary and secondary settings.
• Has a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and SEN best practices.
• Is an excellent communicator who can inspire and guide staff and students.
• Is committed to inclusive education and ensuring all children reach their potential.
