The Community Safety Team is key within Enfield Council. The team is responsible for the coordination and liaison with a diverse range of partners across the Council, including Childrens Service, Environment and Housing as well as external partners, such as the Police, Probation, Health, London Fire Brigade and Voluntary Organisations. The team work to develop and deliver strategies and projects to reduce crime, including Domestic Abuse and Teen Violence and anti-social behaviour in the borough. We commission projects and coordinate activities, reporting back to the Council Scrutiny Panels and Statutory Boards. The postholder will provide support to the Community Safety Partnership through the successful delivery of a number of statutory meetings and projects. The role will aid the delivery of priorities and actions within the Community Safety Plan. The postholder will work closely with the Head of Community Safety and the Community Safety Team, members of the Community Safety Partnership including Police, LFB and Voluntary Organisations, building strong partnership relationships.
