Clear Engineering are currently seeking 2 experienced Data Centre Technicians/cabling Engineers to start a long term contract in Hertfordshire. This will be working on a large Data Centre project.
To be Successful :
- Ideally, the ideal applicant will have a minimum of 5 years experience within the role
- Previous experience as a DC tech/Cabling Engineer on a Data centre project
- be able to Install servers, network and storage hardware with associated cabling/patching
- Perform cabling/patching duties of both copper and fibre for a variety of different client requirements
- Decommission hardware and prepare for shipping whilst coordinating with third party couriers
- Perform various remote hands duties such as power cycling equipment, replacing failed hardware components and testing cabling
