HGV Technician
Location: Enfield
Competitive Salary: (phone number removed) + 25 per week London Weighting allowance
Day/Evening Shift: Tuesday to Saturday - 6:00 to 14:30/ 13:00 - 21:30 alternate weeks/ 6 week rolling rota.

The Role: HGV Technician
We're seeking dedicated HGV Technicians to join the maintenance team at a busy logistics hub in Enfield. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring all work is completed to high standards and within given timeframes
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet safety and performance standards according to manufacturer guidelines
- Breakdowns & Reactive Work: Handle urgent breakdowns and repairs quickly and effectively
- Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all repairs and diagnostics
- First-Time Fix Focus: Ensure quick, effective solutions to minimize downtime and improve vehicle availability
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or transport environment with strong HGV maintenance and repair skills
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent); CPC qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Skills: Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team

Don't have your HGV Class 1 license yet?
If successful, there is the opportunity for training and funding to help you obtain your HGV Class 1 license after a successful length of service.

You'll be working at one of the newest and largest logistics hubs, opened in 2016, which exclusively services a major UK retailer. The site handles both chilled and ambient products, playing a critical role in the supply chain and ensuring products are delivered efficiently to stores.
