Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in GCSE English and Functional Skills to a diverse range of students.
- Support and motivate learners to achieve their goals, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
- Use creative and innovative teaching methods to engage students and improve outcomes.
- Monitor and assess learner progress, providing constructive feedback to drive their success.
- Contribute to the college's mission of creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in English or a related field.
- Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English in an educational setting.
- A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students to succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage learners.
- A teaching qualification (or a willingness to work towards one).
- Hourly pay: £20 - £35 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).
