Job Purpose:

The HR & Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing HR operations and ensuring compliance from relevant departments with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards (such as CQC, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NHS Data Protection Security Toolkit, and QSI). This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and high level oversight of compliance mechanisms across all governance structures.

Experience:

Proven experience in HR and compliance roles, ideally within the healthcare or regulated industry.

Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and healthcare compliance standards, including CQC, ISO, and data protection regulations.

Communication Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Organisational Skills:

Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in HR and compliance software tools, with strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Personal Attributes:

Integrity: High level of ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive information.

Proactive: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
