A medium sized and well established and respected multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in Bathand other key UK locationsare seeking a Quantity Survey or Senior Quantity Surveyorto join their growing team.

This well-established Construction Consultancy are now looking to capitalise on their long term client list and also strengthen their capabilities around a growing area of the business.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining an organisation who have a strong track record in developing and mentoring their staff. They have a strong diversity and inclusion policy.

About the role:

The successful Quantity Surveyor will gain experience in the core areas of Quantity Surveying, particularly:

  • Cost management, ensuring that the project remains within budget.
  • Prepare tendering documents
  • Provide alternative solutions with restricted budgets
  • Contract Administration.
  • Provide a personal service to well established clients.

You will be working in multiple sectors which will include public and private.

The role willexpose you to the core areas of business and provide developmnt in key areas, along with progression opportunities.

About the requirements:

  • The successful Quantity Surveyor needs to have a strong understanding of the role of a Quantity Surveyor within a Consultancy environment
  • A RICS accredited degree would be preferable
  • A desire to become chartered through RICS or already chartered.
  • Exceptional client facing skills are essential as is the ability to interact with all manner of stakeholders at all levels.
