Responsibilities and Duties


Reporting to the Group SHEQ Director, you will:

  • Lead and implement high standards of Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) practices across multiple sites.
  • Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures aligned with current legislation and business needs.
  • Conduct risk assessments, create action plans, and ensure control measures are implemented.
  • Deliver engaging onboarding programmes for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Train and coach teams to embed a safety-first culture and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Monitor site operations through audits, inspections, and incident investigations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with regulators and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and reporting.


Professional Qualifications


We are looking for someone with the following:

  • BSc (Hons) in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Health and Safety, with 3 years in manufacturing or heavy industry.
  • Familiarity with BS OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, and ideally ISO 14001 and ISO 9000 standards.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and excellent report-writing skills.
