Schedule:  4 on / 4 off (Week 1 - 6am to 4pm, Week 2 - 10am to 8pm)

Maintenance Engineer Duties:

 

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of heavy machinery, including mixes, presses, silos, pumps, and various electrical components. Your responsibilities will include:

 

- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with the agreed schedule.

- Executing reactive maintenance as required to ensure minimal downtime.

- Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and that equipment is maintained in a safe condition.

- Safeguarding the site both electrically and mechanically.

- Swiftly resolving plant breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.

- Demonstrating the ability to engage and motivate teams and individuals to maintain a productive environment.

 

Maintenance Engineer Experience:

 

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

 

- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, B-tech, or City & Guilds.

- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

- Familiarity with working in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting.

- PLC fault-finding experience.
