Our client are a mortgage broker based in London that work with a variety of estate agents and accountancy practices. As a self-employed broker you'd be covering different branches for the estate agents. Regarding this particular role - you will be expected to attend the offices on a regular basis. You will also be expected to attend weekly case update meetings whereby the admins will run through their cases to ensure they are progressing.
Responsibilities of a Mortgage Broker;
- Advise customers on their whole of market mortgage options, using their in-house software.
- Ensure customers are fully informed throughout the process.
- Work alongside their case management team to ensure the mortgage application is smooth for the customer.
- Work closely with the estate agency team, creating a lasting relationship.
- Create and improve the process with the estate agents, to ensure leads are being fed across properly.
- Ensure all of your work is completed to high standards and is compliant.
Requirements to Become a Mortgage Broker here;
- Must hold full CeMAP qualification.
- At least 3 years’ experience in mortgage and protection advice (whole of market)
- Estate agent background (preferred but not essential)
- Based across different branches (London)
