Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Design and Technology teacher to inspire our students and develop their practical skills and creative thinking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DT, with experience in areas such as woodworking, metalworking, textiles, and electronics. You will play a key role in delivering a dynamic curriculum that encourages students to explore, design, and innovate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Design and Technology across key stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging projects and extracurricular activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and educational practices to continually enhance the curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
