Are you a skilled professional van driver with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for ensuring efficient drainage systems? We have a role available in which you would be able to train as a Drainage Technician! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing drainage systems, diagnosing issues, and ensuring optimal functionality, particularly working with liquid waste. This position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment. Training will be provided for essential certifications, including Working at Height, First Aid, Street Works, Jetting, and Manual Handling.

Payrate - £12.00 per hour basic.
Basic Rota - Monday to Friday, (There may also be the requirement to work some weekends)

Hours are 08:00am starts, however due to the nature of the role we cannot gurantee a finish time, as there can be emergency draininage work that needs to be carried out immediately, you are paid for all hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair drainage systems, ensuring proper functionality with a focus on liquid waste management.
  • Diagnose drainage issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Operate and maintain drainage equipment and tools.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drainage projects.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and providing updates.

Skills, Qualifications, and Expertise:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Working at Height, First Aid, Street Works, Jetting, and Manual Handling (training provided).
