Role: Private Client Paralegal

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000

Location: Epping

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

I am excited to be recruiting a Private Client Paralegal on the behalf of a multi-office law firm for their Epping office. See below for the key details…

Duties

  • Onboard new clients by collecting necessary information, verifying identities, and conducting anti-money laundering (AML) checks.
  • Complete and submit forms required for probate applications, which involve handling the estate of a deceased person.
  • Assist in creating legal documents related to wills (testamentary documents) and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) that grant someone else the authority to make decisions on behalf of the client.
  • Attend meetings with clients, providing support during discussions and taking notes.

Experience

  • Must possess a minimum of 1 years+ experience working within a similar position.
  • Law degree desirable
  • Empathetic and patient personality type
  • Excellent communication skills
