Location: Epping, Essex

Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our vibrant and successful school, recently rated as "Good" by Ofsted. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced English teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT/ECT) looking to develop their career in a supportive and dynamic environment. The role is available for a January 2024 start or as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with a focus on fostering a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring all pupils are motivated and supported to achieve their full potential.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and performance and contribute to the positive learning environment across the school.
- Work collaboratively with the English department to create resources, share best practices, and continuously improve teaching standards.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in English.
- Experience teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for English literature and language.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
