Role Overview

We are hiring a Planned maintenance coordinator to act as the primary point of contact for tenants during planned works such as kitchen, bathroom replacements, and home improvements. This role is essential for ensuring a smooth customer journey by offering proactive and face-to-face support to tenants throughout the work process.



Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Visit tenants to explain the upcoming works, agree on options, and ensure they feel supported throughout the process.
  • First Point of Contact: Handle tenant concerns before, during, and after works to maintain satisfaction and resolve issues quickly.
  • Aftercare: Address any post-work issues and ensure effective aftercare for all residents.
  • Vulnerable Residents: Provide extra support, including help with packing or moving items where needed.
  • Feedback & Complaints: Encourage tenants to provide feedback and manage any complaints promptly to reduce formal escalations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Contracts team to ensure tenants' expectations are met.


Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles, ideally within social housing or planned maintenance.
  • Ability to problem-solve and handle customer concerns professionally.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (you will need to visit tenants' homes).
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help people.
  • Basic knowledge of general property maintenance or repairs is an advantage.
