Job Title: Part-Qualified Accountant / Accounts Semi-Senior

Location: Epsom, Surrey

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

TPF Recruitment is supporting a reputable independent accountancy practice in Epsom, Surrey, in their search for a Part-Qualified Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established firm offering a varied workload and a strong focus on client service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a team, as well as taking individual accountability to Managers and Partners.
  • Managing a diverse client portfolio, including partnerships, sole traders, and limited companies.
  • Assisting with client payrolls and pension submissions.
  • Providing bookkeeping and preparing management accounts.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT/CIS returns.
  • Assisting with year-end accounts preparation for review by Managers or Partners.
  • Performing corporation tax computations.
  • Occasional involvement in audits as needed.
  • Providing support to other service clients as required.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience within an accountancy practice, ideally managing a range of clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge in areas such as VAT, CIS, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office.
