20% Audit & 80% Accounts

Responsible for a variety of duties within the firm’s Audit and Accounts Department. These will include: •    Working within a team, as well as individual accountability to Partners. Some client travel will be required from time to time. •    Dealing with a varied client portfolio including partnerships, sole trader and limited companies.  •    Year-end accounts preparation for review of Manager or Partner. •    Assistance with book-keeping and management accounts. •    Preparation and submission of VAT returns. •    Corporation tax computations. •    Lead on and carry out audits, as and when required, training others in team. •    Assistance with other service clients may, from time to time, be required. •    Assist team on producing charity accounts and returns. •    Ideal candidate will be given a dedicated portfolio.   BENEFITS •    Hybrid working is available with up to two days working from home per week, as well as flexible working hours. •    Private Health Care. •    Cash-back on optical, dental and complementary therapies. •    Professional subscriptions paid.
