A truly unique opportunity for a highly ambitious individual. Joining this well established and independent firm, you will work closely with the Managing Partner to drive the firm forward. Their long-term presence in the local areas has led to them having an enviable client base, and you will get to work closely with some extraordinary clients often reserved for the largest firms in the country. This is not a typical Audit and Accounts role, responsibilities are vast and varied, and you need to be someone who wants to challenge the status-quo and make a real impact to the firms’ success. The right candidate can expect their career to grow to Partner status in the foreseeable future.

Audit and Accounts Manager - About The Role

  • Take control of a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Lead Audit engagements, and if applicable, improve upon or implement your own testing methods
  • Train junior members of the team
  • Review accounts prepared by junior members of the team
  • Prepare more complex sets of Accounts
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to grow the firm, planning and strategizing
  • Take a prominent role in bringing new clients into the firm

The successful Audit and Accounts Manager will have/be:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ UK experience in Audit and Accounts is essential
  • Qualified with ACA or ACCA (although PQ candidates may be considered)
  • Drive and ambition to grow your career and ambitions to make Partner
  • Strong communication skills and high level of confidence
