Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for a company based in Epsom who due to growth are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and will be keen to grow as the role expands.

Main Duties:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with financial regulations, and the integrity of financial data.
  • Supporting with developing and managing the annual budget, monitoring expenditure, and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Supporting in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income and expenditure statements, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborating with budget managers to provide financial insights and support with budgets.
  • Supporting with managing the organisation’s cash flow and forecasting future financial positions.
  • Supporting during annual audits.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in financial policies, processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and meet organisational objectives.
  • Liaising with all external stakeholders and maintaining relevant reporting and compliance needs
  • Supporting with accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Lead in the billing of services with the funding bodies, ensure the timely processing of billing, and prepare and maintain reconciliations.
  • Conducting detailed analyses to interpret financial data, provide actionable recommendations, to drive understanding, engagement and ownership.
  • Supporting with identifying and managing financial risks in the areas of work undertaken.
  • Supporting with overseeing the organisation’s cash flow forecasting.
