Job Summary
:

A leading automotive Main dealership is looking for a proactive Workshop Controller to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of its workshop. This is a hands-off role, ideal for a professional with experience in workshop management, skilled in communication, and dedicated to delivering excellent service and operational flow. Join a reputable company with a commitment to quality and employee growth.

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversee and coordinate all workshop activities to ensure efficiency and high standards.
  • Act as a liaison between front-of-house staff and workshop technicians to maintain clear communication and expectations.
  • Plan and schedule work, ensuring optimal workload distribution.
  • Maintain an organised workflow to meet both client and business needs.
  • Monitor job progress and address any issues to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Uphold health and safety standards within the workshop.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar Workshop Controller or management role within the automotive sector.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination between teams.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume environment while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
