Key Role Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the private sector.
- Manage and grow existing client relationships, increasing spend and expanding service offerings.
- Lead the entire sales cycle, from discovery and consultation to negotiation and close.
- Develop and present tailored IT solutions, leveraging the support of pre-sales and technical experts.
- Conduct in-depth market research and leverage networks to generate high-quality leads.
- Deliver compelling client presentations and product demonstrations.
- Manage and maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and competitor offerings to refine sales strategy.
Key Attributes Required
- Minimum 2 years of IT sales experience, ideally within a value-added reseller, distributor, or vendor environment.
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Confident in prospecting, networking, and relationship management.
- Experience with solution selling and tailoring proposals to meet complex client requirements.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
- Based within commutable distance of Reading or Leatherhead, with the ability to work from either location up to 3 days per week.
