TLP have been working with Toyota (GB) PLC for over 25 years and are a trusted partner. This role will be employed by TLP (secondment to Toyota (GB) PLC)

Role in a nutshell: In this role, you will be working closely with all areas of Toyota GB to support Lexus to deliver on key strategic and commercial goals. This will include having a strong understanding of Power BI (you can learn this in the role) and Excel (you should have intermediate Excel - Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, basic formulas), to produce reports and analyse trends. You will be supporting your team to manage the Network (Dealerships) and assisting on transformational projects and campaigns being rolled out across the Network.

A bit about Lexus Network Operations: The departments purpose is to coach, motivate and influence business transformation with our Network partners. This involves working with all areas of the business to implement and improve operational programmes and strategies to deliver commercial goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • To use tools such as Power BI & Excel to produce reports and analyse trends, to support the extended Network Operations Field team and Senior Management team to effectively performance manage the Network.
  • To work under the direction of the Network Operations Specialist in providing administrative and operational support, contributing towards the achievement of national Network Operational objectives.
  • This will include:
  • Network query handling, liaising with Marketing Programmes, Vehicle Systems and the Customer and Network Support team, to act as a support contact for Centre Partners on operational issues.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities to ensure efficiency both within the Network Operations team and between teams in the wider divisions.
  • Take ownership of project to improve Lexus’ communication with the Network, collaborating with Toyota Network Operations to ensure clarity, consistency and efficiency of communications from across the business.
  • Oversee the creation of Network Regional Briefing presentations, managing senior stakeholders from multiple departments to set an agenda, produce content and deliver messaging to the Network effectively.
  • Assist the Lexus Operations Management team with transformational project roll outs, performance monitoring and identifying trends.
  • Demonstrate curious mindset, spending time with: Sales Performance, After Sales Performance and Partner Performance Manager in the network to understand the impact of introduced initiatives.

Skills, Behaviours and Experience:

Essential

  • Intermediate Excel
  • Customer first approach
  • Strong organisational, communication, influencing and personal time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills & ability to interpret data to spot trends and make recommendations
  • Proactively finds ways to improve efficiency in tasks
  • Ability to take an initiative from proposal through to feasibility, development, implementation & PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act).
  • Ability and willing to travel to nationwide departmental and regional meetings (up to twice a month).

Desirable

  • Systems experience, e.g. AS400 and Power BI
  • Degree level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of TGB and Centre Network
  • Project Management skills / qualification
