Senior Data Engineer

Epsom, Surrey (3 days a week in the office)

£60-70,000 plus package

Are you a Data Engineer, who whilst loving your data, also enjoys collaborating with not only your team but other teams in the business to engineer the best solution for all

This role has been described as 60%/ 40% with the 60% being technical, the 40% being soft skills/ communication/ collaboration.

Your skills set will be heavily Azure based with experience in Data Factory/ Data bricks/ Synapse/ SQL/ Python.

You might even have Azure certifications; Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Developer expert, Azure Data Engineer expert.

You will also have a good understanding fullstack .Net Development: .Net for Application Development (C#, App services, Azure API Management Services)

In an Agile Environment using modern methodologies and techniques (CI/CD, TDD, Pair Programming, vertical Slice Delivery)

Working as part of an empowered, self-organising team you collectively own the process, decisions, and commitments for delivering the prioritised business goals in conformance to defined standards and governance.

As a team you own what you build, ensuring effective ongoing support, maintenance, and optimisation.

On a personal level you will own your performance development plan in pursuit of continuous growth and development.
