EYFS Preschool Assistant

Location: Kingston Upon Thames, KT10
Day Rate: £90-£105
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: Rota Basis, Flexible
Start Date: ASAP

Long Term Futures is on the search for a caring, friendly, and nurturing EYFS Preschool Assistant to support children across Reception and Nursery classes. This opportunity is based in an 'OFSTED' Good rated primary school. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.

The Role:

Supporting the class teacher with teaching and learning in the classroom.
Assisting children with SEN (Speech & Language delay, ASD).
Ensuring all children are provided with a safe environment to learn in.
Assisting with eating and fostering a sense of independence.
Leading phonics sessions with children ready for this stage.
Supporting pupils who may present with additional needs.

Who We Are Looking For:

Holds CACHE/NVQ Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
Must have experience working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant, Preschool Teaching Assistant, or similar role in an EYFS setting.
Demonstrates a genuine passion for teaching and learning.
Has sound knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum.
Experience working with children with SEN.
Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Inspires as a key member of the support team, demonstrating outstanding classroom practice and keeping children at the heart of learning.
