Teaching Assistant - Primary

NextGen are currently partnering with a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Epsom area.

We are seeking someone who wants to add to a brilliant local school. You will be a key member of the school supporting the classroom teachers to deliver excellent lessons, supporting with building positive relationships and the children are getting the support needed.

Day to day you will be:

  • Support with implementing appropriate activities to support children's learning and development
  • Both group and 1:1 support
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Communicating with parents
  • Promoting the general wellbeing of the children
  • Observe and assess the children progress and be able to report back to the classroom teacher and parents

We are looking for someone with:

  • Prior experience working with Primary age children in a education setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A brilliant team player
  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • A positive, can-do attitude
