Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a well established building services company who are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team.

This key role will be responsible for delivering accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, and would suit someone with site experience who is ready to develop their skills.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Reviewing project plans and specifications covering all electrical requirements
  • Working closely with project managers, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the estimating process
  • Preparing estimates in an accurate and timely manner
  • Working as part of a team to achieve deadlines
  • Identifying potential challenges in projects and proposing practical solutions
  • Keeping accurate records and maintain databases and project documentation

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Site/tools experience in electrical works is essential
  • Experience in estimating electrical would be an advantage, as would experience with estimating software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Computer literate in Microsoft applications, with the ability to learn new software
  • Effective time management with the ability to prioritise
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
