My client are a Chartered independent wealth planning firm with offices near Epsom/Leatherhead who I have met and placed a member of staff with. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across Sussex, Kent and London. In their current setup they manage the affairs of 250 families with assets ranging from £600k - £8m. The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections and some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes. They have very longstanding relations stretching back 20 years.The business has won numerous awards and is very engaged in the local community events and are advocates of many charitable causes. They place exceptional customer satisfaction at the top of their priorities resulting in a very high rate of retention. The support team comprises of an experienced team of Administrators & Paraplanners and are actively encouraged to progress and develop as both professionals and individuals via ongoing CPD and industry exams. The business also has dedicated Operations professionals ensuring a smooth functioning of the business.The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a Financial Planner who will be responsible for managing a portion of his existing book of business. This is a servicing role and will be suitable for a candidate who has a background in an independent wealth planning firm and can work with complex HNW cases and has the gravitas to be worthy of receiving the baton of the business's best clients.
