Overview of the role:

To ensure the hygiene team deliver the highest level of hygiene standards and work as a team to ensure our site and customer's hygiene standards

Daily Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the Health & Safety, Food Safety and Socio-Environmental values.
  • Achieve all KPIs.
  • To be fully conversant and comply with factors relating to COSHH regulations.
  • Follow Company procedures, especially those regarding Food hygiene.
  • Ensure hygiene duties on site are carried out. 
  • Comply with hygiene equipment and PPE colour-coded system within the factory.
  • All relevant cleaning checklists completed as per schedule.
  • Report any damages to factory equipment or other issues to engineering, production or other relevant departments. 
  • Order and manage hygiene chemicals and consumables.
  • Manage laundry requirements: delivery of cleans collection of dirties, and allocation of coats to staff to ensure availability for the next delivery.
  • Create CIC instructions as required.
  • Risk assess and approve new equipment introduced to the site, communicated any hygiene/fabrication concerns to engineers.
  • Train and coach hygiene team on hygiene tasks
  • Carry out PDPs and one-to-one meetings with the team.

Work on hygiene performance, cleaning improvements to ensure environmental micro testing results are within specification.
