We are seeking a Philanthropy Manager to lead the cultivation and stewardship of Major Donors, Trusts, and statutory bodies. This pivotal role focuses on driving significant income growth and developing fundraising cases of support and impact reporting. The successful candidate will manage a team of experienced fundraisers and work closely with various departments to achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Philanthropy strategy, including annual plans, budgets, and KPIs, with a long-term view of relationship and funding development.
  • Drive growth of a portfolio of existing supporters and new prospects at the five and six-figure gift level, focusing on acquiring new donors.
  • Maintain relationships with key Major Donors, Trusts, and Statutory bodies through exemplary stewardship.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create inspiring fundraising cases for support and impact reporting.
  • Engage donors through a programme of special events in partnership with the Events Manager.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to three direct reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in philanthropy or major donor fundraising with a track record of achieving income growth.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term plans and budgets.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with experience in managing high-value donor relationships.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience in coaching and developing staff.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, data analysis, and impact measurement.
