TLP has partnered with Toyota (GB) PLC for over 25 years, and we are excited to offer this new opportunity within the Pricing and Programmes team. This role will be employed by TLP (seconded to Toyota (GB) PLC).

As a Tyre Programmes Specialist, you will be joining a dedicated team focused on driving growth and profitability for Toyota’s tyre programme. You’ll play a key role in enhancing margins through pricing strategies, managing key programmes like Toyota Genuine Motor Oil (TGMO), tyres, Service Maintenance and Repair (SMR), and brand protection, while collaborating with suppliers to support the wider Value Chain business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the European Head Office to shape and execute the local UK strategy for the Tyre Programme, focusing on customer loyalty and expanding the programme’s impact within the UK market.
  • Manage a portfolio of local parts suppliers and work closely with two tyre wholesale partners to optimise tyre offerings for the dealer network. This includes:
  • Setting competitive pricing strategies
  • Driving marketing campaigns
  • Conducting market research
  • Sharing best practices across the network
  • Managing stocking profiles and tyre availability
  • Providing training and support
  • Investigate new growth opportunities within the tyre programme, including rebate structures, bonus payments, and consumer tyre portals.
  • Lead projects related to tyre offerings, including alloy wheel refurbishment and spare wheel options for vehicles.
  • Support the onboarding of new network partners into the Tyre Programme.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in the field teams and tyre wholesale partners, ensuring alignment and collaboration. Be the go-to tyre expert for the business.
  • Work with local parts suppliers to enhance their offerings and increase Toyota GB’s revenue.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Proven commercial experience, ideally in a similar field
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience working with suppliers and fostering collaboration

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with the UK tyre industry
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools for reporting
