We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Gas Installation Administrator to join one of our market leading gas contractors. This role plays a key part in supporting our Gas Installation Department, ensuring the efficient management of engineer schedules, paperwork, and client communications.
Salary starting at £24,000 a year and will be reveiwed after probation
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities
- Approving engineer timesheets and ensuring accuracy
- Allocating work to engineers, electricians, and builders
- Running weekly job status reports to track progress
- Managing daily work schedules and confirming appointments with residents
- Communicating with clients via phone and email across multiple contracts
- Ensuring all jobs have the necessary materials and information for completion
- Checking asbestos registers when required
- Raising orders for subcontractors and approving timesheets
What They Are Looking For
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Experience in an administrative role, ideally within gas installations or construction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software (training provided)
- A proactive and problem-solving approach to work
