Are you a dynamic and strategic leader with a passion for curriculum development? We are seeking an energetic and focused Curriculum Manager to lead the Electrical department at a prestigious, award-winning college in Surrey.

You do not need prior experience within an electrical department to apply. We welcome applicants from a variety of curriculum backgrounds, particularly those with expertise in curriculum design and departmental leadership across other subject areas.

About the Role:

As Curriculum Manager, you will work closely with the Head of School to oversee and drive excellence across the department. Your leadership will play a key role in curriculum management, teaching excellence, and student success while also contributing as an active member of the teaching team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the effective delivery of the curriculum, ensuring strong recruitment, retention, achievement, and success rates.
  • Lead and support the teaching team in delivering high-quality education and training.
  • Work with the Head of School on budgeting, performance, and strategic planning.
  • Champion key curriculum objectives and provide leadership in specific areas as directed.
  • Ensure clear communication of policies and procedures across the team.
  • Drive target-setting and performance management, ensuring staff deliver to the highest standards.
What We're Looking For:
  • Strong curriculum knowledge, including government policy and evidence-based teaching, learning, and assessment strategies.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and implement positive changes.
  • Excellent data and information management skills, with a track record of using college systems effectively.
  • A background in teaching and/or student support, with a proven ability to achieve strong student outcomes.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with a history of driving curriculum improvements.
