My client is currently seeking a Senior Residential Property Solicitor for their office in Epsom. The role involves managing a varied caseload, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, lease extensions, and enfranchisement.Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing Property Transactions: Oversee the entire conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Title Checking: Review property titles and highlight any potential issues or restrictions to clients, ensuring full legal compliance and advising on solutions where necessary.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing queries, and offering expert legal advice throughout the transaction.
  • Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: Prepare, review, and amend contracts for residential property transactions, ensuring that all legal requirements are met, and the client’s interests are protected.
  • Handling Legal Documentation: Prepare key legal documents such as transfer deeds, lease extensions, and other property-related agreements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conducting Due Diligence: Carry out property searches, liaise with local authorities, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with other members of the conveyancing team, as well as other departments, to ensure seamless service delivery and support where needed.
  • Client Care and Relationship Management: Maintain a high standard of client care, building and nurturing strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Ability to independently manage their caseload while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills
