Hours: 37.5 hours per week (over 4 days, initially Monday to Friday, with potential for weekend shifts)

Pay Mechanism: Direct Mechanism

Pay Rates: £21 - £23 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend ward/board rounds in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Liaise effectively with acute and community services.
  • Provide follow-up D2A (Discharge to Assess) visits in the community.
  • Work with patients both in inpatient settings and within their homes.
  • Assess and treat a wide range of conditions in the community and hospital.
  • Contribute to service delivery and ensure continuity of care.

Essential Requirements:

  • CAR DRIVER ESSENTIAL (due to community visits)
  • Experience in community physiotherapy settings.
  • Inpatient physiotherapy experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of D2A (Discharge to Assess) services.
  • Strong communication and team-working skills.

Additional Information:

  • 37.5 hours per week over 4 days (initially Monday to Friday, with potential for weekend shifts).
  • The role is initially contracted until 31st March 2025 but may be subject to change.
