A bit about the role…

In the heart of Ewell and a stones throw away from Nonsuch Park, an inclusive and thriving village primary school with a GOOD Ofsted rating are on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 5 Primary Teacher on a temporary basis.

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will need to be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum and cater to diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and be able to adapt their teaching style to suit the needs of different students.

Requirements – what do we need from YOU?

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 5.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Knowledge of child development and progression and its impact on planning.
  • Effective strategies for managing behaviour in line with the school’s policy.
