Madisons Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our clients well established team in Epsom, Surrey.
Duties:
- Accurately reviewing project plans and ensuring all electrical requirements are correctly captured in estimates
- Using your hands on site and tools experience to understand practical aspects of projects and then provide estimations
- Working closely with the Project Managers, suppliers and subcontractors
- Helping the team meet project deadlines with the preparation of estimates
- Learning and developing your estimating skills including the use of software tools
- Keeping accurate records and contributing to the maintenance of cost databases and documentation
Requirements:
- Site/tools experience in electrical works essential
- Previous experience in estimating electrical projects is preferred
- Experience with estimating software is desired but not essential, and full training will be provided
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Computer literate
- Good attention to detail
