An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and customer service focused Business Development Manager to join their Expert Witness Department at this leading provider of psychological services in Epsom, who supply a diverse network of over 1000 expert psychologists to their clients.

This is a remote role although travel to meetings & events nationwide will be required. A full job description will be sent to you on application.

About the role
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, building and maintaining rapport with key accounts to drive new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
  • Analysing results, monitoring variances and identifying trends
  • Managing the team to ensure client requirements are delivered
  • Conducting team reviews and appraisals
  • Working to agreed processes, compliance and meeting legal requirements
  • Evaluating and designing/redesigning processes/policies or procedures

About the rewards
In the role of Business Development Manager the hours of work are 9am to 5pm (no weekends or Bank Holidays) and there is on offer:

  • A salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Up to £5,000 per annum performance related bonus on successful achievement of agreed objectives
  • 23 days paid holiday, plus all bank holidays

About you
To be successful for the role of Business Development Manager, you must have / be:

  • Undergraduate degree - Psychology desirable but not essential
  • Previous account management and new business development experience, including generating/attending meetings, presenting and networking
  • Confident Team / People Manager
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to build rapport at all levels
  • Able to research, develop and implement strategic reviews
  • Experience of data analysis and reporting
  • Experience of managing budgets including driving sales, forecasting and managing costs
  • Commitment to delivering great customer service
  • Effective planning, organisational and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, flexible with a ‘can do attitude'
  • Resilient and capable of juggling priorities and work under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines
