Designer Recruitment are proud to be working with an established kitchen and bathroom company who are seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the Surrey and London area. This family-run business are seeking a Business Development Manager to target the smaller housebuilder market.

This role will incorporate selling kitchens and bathrooms into the Contract market due to the continued expansion of their Contract Sales Division.

Business Development Manager duties:

  • The position is field-based with a focus on new business activity as well as some management and growth of existing accounts
  • Selling kitchens and bathroomsinto the housebuilder market
  • Developing new business in the contract market
  • Working with the wider sales team to ensure a smooth running of the division
  • Confirming orders and processing those orders
  • Attending events and promoting the brand across multiple channels
  • Visiting customers on a weekly basis to promote, showcase and sell cabinetry
  • Booking in follow-up appointments with potential customers


The ideal candidate will be a highly driven individual who is results-orientated, with experience in developing business in the Contract marketplace. A proactive approach, great communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to be self-sufficient within their specific geography are essential.
