REED Education are looking for passionate SEN Teaching Assistants, who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN). Based in a SEN School, this is located in the beautiful market town of Epsom. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a supportive and dynamic educational environment and are committed to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborating with other staff members and parents to ensure student progress.

What do we need from you, what are the requirements?

  • Experience working with students with SEN (previous classroom experience preferred).
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student.
