We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Multidrop Delivery Driver for a temp-to-permanent position with a leading plumbing and heating products specialist.
The role requires a valid Category C1 licence and previous experience as a multidrop delivery driver, along with a valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
The working hours are 45 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with a salary of £17.00 per hour on weekdays and higher rates for weekends and bank holidays.
The ideal candidate should be physically fit to handle heavy items and possess strong communication and customer service skills.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Multidrop Delivery Driver for a temp-to-permanent position with our client, a leading specialist in plumbing and heating products. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable driver to join a dynamic team and secure a long-term role.

Position Details:

Working Hours:
- 45 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday)
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)
Job Type: Temp-to-Permanent

PAYE Rates:

Monday - Friday: £17.00
Saturday - Sunday: £18.00
Bank Holiday: £21.00

PAYE & Rolled Up Holiday:

Monday - Friday: £19.13
Saturday - Sunday: £20.26
Bank Holiday: £23.64

Umbrella Assignment Rate:

Monday - Friday: £22.19
Saturday - Sunday: £23.49
Bank Holiday: £27.41

Class 2 Multidrop Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle for daily deliveries.
Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
Load and unload goods from the vehicle, including physical handling of heavy items.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations while driving.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle.
Provide excellent communication and customer service while interacting with clients.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience as a multidrop delivery driver.
Valid Category C1 licence for 7.5t vehicles.
A valid CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph card.
Maximum of 6 penalty points on the driving licence (no major offences such as DR, TT, or IN).
Physically fit and able to handle the workload, including lifting and carrying heavy items.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
