Are you ready to hit the road with a leading agency? Pertemps is on the lookout for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to join our team and work with fantastic clients in the Erith, Dartford, and Belvedere areas!
Pay Rate: 16.75 - 17.50 per hour (depending on client and shift)
Responsibilities include:
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Performing multi-drop deliveries to various locations.
- Completing necessary paperwork and adhering to delivery schedules.
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining a professional attitude while representing our agency and our clients.
- Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
- Manual handling is some cases
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Minimum 1.5y experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent timekeeping.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Previous experience as a Class 2 driver is preferred.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your license (for minor offences).
