Job Title: HGV 1 Tramper Driver

Location: UK-wide (Main depot in Erith)

Salary: 45,000 per annum + 26.60 tax-free payment per night out

Hours: 38 hours per week not including wait time,(half day Fridays, Saturdays off and half day Sunday)

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 1 Tramper Driver to join our clients team. Based at our main depot in Erith, you will be covering the whole of the UK, transporting goods safely and efficiently across long distances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a company-provided HGV 1 vehicle across various UK locations.
• Ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to road safety and compliance standards.
• Operating and maintaining the vehicle, including the use of the provided microwave and fridge.
• Complying with driving regulations and legal standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and hours of service.
• Ensuring high standards of professionalism and communication with clients and the depot.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year's experience as an HGV 1 driver.
• Over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes if you dont have at least 1 years experience)
• A clean and valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.
• Must pass a Drugs & Alcohol test and DBS check.
• A strong understanding of UK road networks and a commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work Monday to Thursday with half-day Fridays, no Saturdays, and Sundays for part of the shift.

Night Out Allowance:

• Receive 26.60 tax-free payment for every night spent away from home.
