Our client based in Erith is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers.

Immediate start available.

HGV Class 2 Drivers - average of 14 drops per day, collection on return route

Salary: £39,000 pa + OT, paid weekly

Rota: Saturdays, paid at 1.5 - one weekend in 4

Holiday: 20 days + BH

Routes are normally DA8 to SE1 areas, mainly pallet work - occasional routes to NW and SW London

Must be able to use tail lift - able to use electric pump truck

Driver Principal Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Ensuring that the vehicle is presentable at all times and the daily checks are completed.
  • Maintaining a reasonable level of fuel and fluids in the vehicle at all times.
  • Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed on a daily basis.
  • Liaising with customers on their premises as necessary.
  • Debrief the team on a daily basis covering customer requests, delivery performance and customer feedback.
  • Work as a key part of the team
  • Contributing to the maintenance of Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • Promoting good housekeeping for an efficient working environment
  • Well presented at all times
