I am recruiting for a major groupage operator looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their new start up office based in the Kent area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a successful, commercially driven Sales Manager to develop the London office and grow it with the support and investment from overseas offices.
You will be responsible for developing business to add volume to existing services and generating new business. Other duties will include:
- Developing roadfreight groupage and full load business between the UK and Ireland
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets
- Coordinate with the operations, customs & transport teams
- Negotiate new and existing contracts and agreements with clients
- Track sales performance and make data-driven decisions to improve sales outcomes
- Client visits
Requirements:
- Experience and proven results in the roadfreight market are absolutely essential
- Irish roadfreight groupage - huge advantage
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
