Landfill Supervisor
Up to £39,300 + Car allowance + Bonus
Rainham, Essex
MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Landfill Supervisor, to assist the site manager with operating a landfill site, based in Rainham, Essex. This position would suit someone with experience working with yellow plant equipment and experience of supervising a small team.
As the Landfill Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Site Manager with the day to day operations of the Landfill Site
- Ensuring site compliance with Waste Management Licensing, Health & Sagety at work act and other policies/procedures
- Supervising and leading other members of staff
- Assist the weighbridge with any queries as they arise and resolve problems by communicating with internal departments
- Investigate all incidents and accidents
- Ensure weighbridge operations are operated in line with company procedures
- Assist with financial recording, spend against budget, receipt of capital and purchase orders
- Regularly check with site operations to confirm if service delivered and goods received
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Proven supervisory experience or experience leading other members of staff
- An understanding of the Waste industry is beneficial
- The ability to operate mobile plant
- Natural leadership and organisation skills
- Full UK driving licence is essential
