Client Advisor (Restart) **

We are working in partnership with a Local Authority based in the Bexley area who are looking to appoint a Client Advisor to support their Restart programme.

6 Month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.
Location - Erith, DA8 1SL. (This is 100% in the office, face to face post)
36 hours per week.
Rate of Pay - 18+ per hour - Negotiable depending on experience.

** Must have excellent attention to detail, be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and data entry requirements. Must have strong admin skills as data entry must be entered as part of the client appointment process **

Job Purpose:

  • Support those who have been out of work for longer periods might need extra help to move back into employment.
  • The Restart Scheme will break down employment barriers that could be holding people back from finding work.
  • As a Client Advisor on the Restart programme, you will work with adult job seekers who are preparing to move into employment, helping them to identify and address the barriers that make this difficult by providing exemplary case management, including support, advice, advocacy and signposting to relevant services.
  • You will provide information, advice and guidance and develop and maintain an action plan with each job seeker.
  • You will agree a range of range activities with the job seeker to enable and inspire them to achieve sustained employment alongside non-employment progression measures, including improving well being, self-confidence and level of independence.
  • You will work in partnership with a wide variety of local agencies and colleagues within the team to provide the best support to individuals.

Experience Needed:

  • Supported individuals to achieve employment goals using client action plans.
  • Welfare to Work benefits system experience.
  • Using ICT packages - good knowledge of the Windows and Microsoft Office Suite packages.
