We are seeking a self-motivated Sales Representative who is confident in both phone and face-to-face interactions. This role involves answering and proactively making calls to new business opportunities, building relationships with both new and existing customers, and converting these prospects into buying customers. The ideal candidate will effectively manage their own small group of customers while seeking opportunities to range sell and open new accounts.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Answer and proactively make calls to new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Convert prospects into buying customers.
  • Manage and maintain a small group of customers while identifying opportunities to range sell and open new accounts.
  • Collaborate with all departments to effectively transact business and maximise volume and margins.
  • Process sales orders using industry-specific software.
  • Become familiar with our full range of products and promote all aspects of the business, including the Lubricants department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of selling experience (preferred).
  • Experience in the motor, trade, transport, or related industry would be beneficial (preferred) but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using industry-specific software for processing sales orders.
